About Howard Britt & Music Industry School
I don’t remember exactly when I first had the idea of an online training program that would help musicians improve their music success, but I finally put a name to it in July of 2007… I had no idea what it would become or how much it would mean to me.
When I first started Music Industry School… I was frustrated with getting myself sucked into helping artists who…had potential, but just wouldn’t follow directions because they’d lose focus somewhere along the lines. I just finally decided it would be better to start putting my ideas, thoughts and techniques into some type of format that would allow me to not have to repeat myself.
I had no idea I would get so deep into it, to this point where I’ve fallen in love and it’s become my day-job. And if you’re curious about what Music Industry School is and what it’s about… I want to explain it to you.
Music Industry School is a mindset.
You don’t have to come to our location and sit behind a desk to take classes, but the classroom is inside of yourself.
It isn’t even so much about how much we can teach, but it’s more a matter of how much you’re actually willing to learn on your own will. And one of the reasons why I could never really teach at a public school, is because I wouldn’t want to work with people who have false or weak motives. I’m more interested in helping people who are really at their wits ends and truly want to do whatever it takes to succeed. I’m not talking about the people in line at American Idol who just want to rely on lucky to get them to the superstar level, I’m talking about people who are ready and willing to do the work and make the sacrifices to make their dreams come true.
It’s a school that gives lessons on how to be successful in the music industry. Everything about it is designed to help artists become music superstars. The how, when, why, where, of being a music superstar in other words. The marketing, the music production, the mindset, the sales, the songwriting, the distribution, the publicity tactics and all the ‘behind the scenes’ things that make a celebrity come to life.
I promised myself I would always help others reach their dreams and that’s what intend to do.
With that I want to say thank you for joining Music Industry School and taking the time to consider our training material to help you reach your biggest and wildest music dreams.
Whether you’re downloaded software or read a blog post that truly helped you learn something new, I am thankful. I’m inviting you to please leave your comments and feedback on how Music Industry School has helped you with your music career.
Graduating You Into Superstardom,
Howard Britt
