Music Industry School – & Music Superstar Formula

I started this whole situation in my head… God knows how long ago. But I put a name to it in July of 2007… I had no idea what it would become or how much it would mean to me.

When I first started Music Industry School… I planned on making it powerful, which it is. But I had no idea I would get so deep into it, to this point. Everyone has been asking what I do, what we do, and who we are – so I’ll explain it.

Music Industry School is a mindset. It’s a school that gives lessons on how to be successful in the music industry. Everything about it is designed to help artists become music superstars. The how, when, why, where, of being a music superstar in other words. The marketing, the music production, the mindset, the sales, the distribution, the publicity tactics, all of those ‘behind the scenes’ things that make a celebrity come to life.

But there is one product in particular that gives you those techniques and that product is called Music Superstar Formula. I’m not going into detail here…

I knew that I was going to release a super-course from Day 1, but I wasn’t exactly sure of how I was going to GET to that point. I knew I couldn’t just say – here it is, and sell it. Especially when I knew it would, could, should be more valuable and cost more than $99. But here are some of my thoughts about how it comes to life and how it’s still coming to life.

• Price – between $199 – and $399 [It’s a super-course. Normal college tuition costs 100x this much. $399 is nothing compared to what it costs to attend seminars, take flights for spring break (which are an expense not an investment), and even something like money wasted on doing things wrong! ]
• Release Date – it was originally going to release in November 2007, then March, Then April, Then May, Now June… ?
• Requirements – membership exceeding 3,000
• Units – I planned on selling 400 copies, but I think that number is too large. I think I should only allow 351 artists instead of 401 to buy it.
• Distribution – distribution means buying equipment to press CDs burn DVDs, etc.
• HOOK – the hook to get people hooked on the idea is what took me the longest. FIRST it was going to be a 7 day e-mail training series, then it was going to be an e-book (which has not been released yet), then finally… finally… BOOT CAMP training. THEN I said okay I should release it on DVD (which has yet to be released).
• Camera – the Camera I used to record BOOTCAMP was a regular consumer quality cam. I know that I can not afford to use this camera for the actual Superstar Formula super-course. And I have got maybe 3 nasty emails advising me to upgrade the quality for Boot camp – so I have kind of delayed finishing the boot camp training until the camera comes in…which should be next week.
• Mentally -I am beyond drained between – dealing with boot camp, working on the super-course, managing emails, managing ads and new sign-ups, listening to music, dealing with Song-Sharpener serial numbers, working on the new product “Artist Blaster” and trying to really stay in touch with everyone… it’s a challenge. And this is all of course full time – with no salary right now.

Everybody knows about the BOOTCAMP training, but it isn’t done. It would be 10x more popular if it was a finished product. Today is March 12th and it’s not completed, but I’m already getting a lot of responses from it. It’s overwhelming… Everything about Music Industry School is amazing, and I am thankful that I’m actually doing something to contribute to lives… while doing something that matters to me.
