STOP Begging To Get Signed To A Record Deal

STOP BEGGING TO GET SIGNED TO A MAJOR RECORD DEAL.. because you simply may never get one, and unless you do something QUICK – you’ll never be worth a record deal anyway. And no it doesn’t matter what genre you’re in.

Desperate to get signed, but still a day late and a dollar short. Desperate to get signed, but still sounding good but not remarkable. Desperate to get signed, but hoping for a day that may never come. If you’re not younger, faster, smarter, and incredibly creative – just give up now – the record labels probably won’t pay attention. If you’re scared to go to the extreme and build a voice with a message you’d die for, then you’ll pass by the wayside. They’ll buy your single, but not your album… and they’ll still burn copies for friends.

Pick a side. Pick a cause. Pick something. Pick a topic. Pick a market and make a move. R&B is probably too big. Rap is probably too big. Pop is probably too big. Country is probably too big. Hope for it, but don’t bank for it. Pick a specialty, if slow jams is our thing, then make them good. If heartbreak country is your thing, then write nearly suicidal lyrics and move on with it. And here’s why…

I had our fascinating award-winning illustrator Dee D’Amico bring some life to the concept because… well, I know some of you don’t like to read and some of you are big kids. Seriously, I wanted to make this a crystal clear as I possibly could. I’ll say it again – Stop Begging for A Record Deal.Stop Begging For A Record Deal

The people who win it big are extremely aggressive and they don’t care so much about governing parties. Britney Spears may be the biggest trouble maker in the world right now, looking at the Google statistics and popularity she has in the blog sphere, I’d say she receives that title; but anyone who thinks her career is over is foolish.

If she never releases another album, she’s got enough power to nearly dominate any market she choses to enter. Say she wants to release a new fashion line – sold! Let’s say she wants to start coaching – sold! Some people will empty their life savings and insurance policies just so they can send their 9 year old kid to follow in her footsteps.

The longevity… the profits…of a music career is not 100% in the music itself anymore. I predict there will be another big collapse of the music industry in the next four (4) years. Probably 3. Except this time, it won’t just be a press release. Next time, every laid off staff worker, exec, and major artist will cause nothing short of a riot – through YouTube,Myspace, websites, radio.

So seriously… stop begging for a record deal. I’m putting together a 60+ page book that explains every nook and cranny of how you can avoid the next collapse, make a living with your music, and still have MAJOR label success without a record deal. You can expect me to make another announcement, plus give a link to the book and the updated software. As of right now, I plan to release both the book and the software completely free…

It will of course be free – I want everyone to get this. I’ll include a video piece too, I really need for everyone to know the truth of how nearly impossible it is to reach the “Big dream” without having the right tools and information. So let’s do it!
